NOTEBOOK / AN IDEA BECOMES SPECIFIC
Keep the
first draft.
An early JetSynapse AI brochure, a snowboarding plan and the idea I was trying to explain.
BEFORE THE BROCHURE / JUNE 2022
An earlier website.
In June 2022, I posted that I’d finished my first website. I said it took eleven hours.
An old profile screenshot still has that post in it, along with the name Pink River Marketing.

01 / THE VISUAL ATTEMPT
It already had
a headline.
A brochure, a robot, and a headline about time. I was trying to explain JetSynapse AI.
This was one of the early drafts. I’m keeping it here so you can see where I was starting.
For what I’m building now, go to JetSynapse AI.
02 / THE REASON
The next note gets personal.
Then there’s the May 2025 note. Snowboard brands. Ecommerce. A brand of my own. A lot of question marks. The reason was pretty direct: I wanted to make enough money to go pro.
Those were ideas and ambitions. I hadn’t answered all the questions. The personal side of that plan is on Ahhloosh.
BETWEEN THE DRAFTS
There was a ski-lift shack in the story.
In the July note, I look back on brainstorming during ski-lift shifts. I kept coming back to it, trying to find a business model that fitted me.
I was excited about finding a direction. That’s what the note records: an idea I wanted to work on, before I knew how it would turn out.

Two copies, different dates.
The captioned Instagram post describes brainstorming during ski-lift shifts. Its export publication timestamp is September 24, 2025. This plain Snapchat photo has a July 17, 2025 filename. The visually matching scene connects the two records; their files are not byte-identical, and neither date independently establishes when the brainstorming happened. The shift hours and thirteen-day period in the caption are my recollection, not independently verified business results. The photograph is context for the story, not a recommendation about fasting or energy drinks.
03 / GETTING SPECIFIC
What does it
actually do?
“Save time” is a big idea. Time spent doing what? For whom? Those are the questions I want to work through.
I wrote more about this in Useful to an actual person: what a business needs, what a template leaves out, and what actually needs to happen.
A RECORDING / MAY 2025
The idea, said out loud.
In this recording, I was talking about buying back time. It’s the complete original film, so you can hear how I explained it then.
The brochure, the note and the recording belong together. They’re three ways I was trying to get the idea out.
I also saved this recording on Snapchat. Same recording, two places.
TRY IT / A NEW WORKING EXERCISE
Give the draft
a smaller job.
Use one of your own rough ideas. You can do this on a sheet of paper before choosing any tools.
- Name one person.
Write who needs the result and the situation they are in. “A shop owner answering the same product question” is something you can picture.
- Name one repeated task.
Describe what they do today, including the information they need. Leave out any step you have only assumed.
- Describe the visible result.
What would let that person say the task is finished? Write something you could actually inspect together.
- Keep one uncertainty.
End with a question to ask them. A first draft is a useful place to discover what you still need to learn.
THE PERSONAL SIDE
A working day, kept.
There’s also a note about trying to finish a proposal before a meeting. The meeting moved. I thanked God for the extra time. Read that moment on Ahhloosh.
About the dates and the exercise
The old profile screenshot shows a post dated June 21, 2022, saying my first website took eleven hours. That is my statement at the time, not independently verified completion or business results. The screenshot’s Instagram export timestamp is August 14, 2022; it does not establish the screenshot’s capture time. Pink River Marketing is a historical reference here, not a current offer or a claim about legal continuity with JetSynapse AI. The brochure photograph’s filename is dated August 22, 2024; that is not presented as a company founding date. The saved note’s filename is dated May 2, 2025. Exact capture/publication timestamps remain unresolved. The video has a May 22, 2025 Instagram export timestamp; that does not independently establish its capture time. Its early claims are part of the historical recording, not current product evidence. The reflection and exercise are new writing based on those artifacts, not a reconstruction of what I said at the time. The shop scenario is an illustration, with no claimed client or commercial result.
