EVOLUTION / 01 / EARLY YEARS → 2022
Before it
was business.
A game, a video, a computer. Long before there was a business name, there was the urge to try something and get better at it.

The interest came first.
In the story I shared in July 2025, I went back to early videos, games and computers. Fortnite was part of that history. So was wanting to create around the things I cared about, rather than keeping every interest to myself.
I don’t want to retell those years as if I had a business plan hiding inside every game. I had interests. I liked trying things. Looking back, the connection is the repeated pull toward making something, sharing it and trying again.
That matters because a beginning can be much smaller than the identity you later give it. A person who eventually builds a company can start by caring about a game, learning a computer or wanting to make a better video.

There was a life around the screen.
The old photographs are full of friends, clothes, movement and places. Keeping those in the story changes its scale. A life doesn’t consist only of the moments that can be turned into professional evidence.
It would be easy to remove everything that doesn’t resemble a founder origin story. But then the person disappears. The rooftop photos, the beach, the people I was around: those belong next to the interests that became work.

The same impulse keeps coming back.
An archived streaming announcement from February 2024 belongs to a later part of this story. It is another visible return to creation, not proof of the first time I ever streamed.
By May 2025, I was writing about streaming as a hobby instead of expecting it to carry my income. That is a useful complication: sometimes an interest gets more room when it no longer has to justify itself as a business.
I still like the question that sits underneath all of it: what could I make with the things I already care about?

as a hobby, might be the key idk but les go
An excerpt from my caption about returning to streaming. It was a possibility I was exploring, not a settled formula.
